Adapting your skin care routine according to the seasons is essential to keep your skin healthy, balanced, protected and radiant all year round.
Spring, which follows winter and precedes summer, is associated with the rebirth of nature. During this season, temperatures rise and plants bloom. On the other hand, summer, which follows spring and precedes autumn, is distinguished by being very sunny and warmer, with longer days and shorter nights.
To take care of your skin during spring and summer is important due to sun exposure and increased outdoor activity. Consider these tips to protect your skin during these seasons:
Use sunscreen: Apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 even on cloudy days will help protect your skin from UV damage. Reapply every 2 hours especially if you sweat or get wet.
Moisturize: Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using light moisturizers to avoid dryness.
Avoid direct sun exposure: seek shade during peak sun hours (between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.) Although it is good to sunbathe but not for more than 15 minutes for your body to produce vitamin D.
Gentle exfoliation: Perform gentle exfoliations to remove dead skin cells and promote cell renewal.
Take care of your lips: Use lip balm with SPF to protect your lips from the sun and keep them moisturized.

Don't forget your eyes: Wear sunglasses with UV protection to protect your eyes and the skin around them.
Refresh your skin: Use facial sprays or cooling mists to keep your skin fresh and hydrated throughout the day.
After sun: After sun exposure, use soothing lotions or aftersun to help calm the skin and prevent irritation.
Take quick, refreshing showers to counteract the heat. It is advisable to use lukewarm or cool water instead of hot water to avoid dehydrating the skin. Also, it is important to use mild, refreshing products to cleanse the skin and maintain its natural balance.
