It is no secret that colors influence how we perceive the world around us, allow us to express ourselves and communicate, and have a significant impact on our emotions and behaviors.
Fashionable colors have varied throughout the ages, reflecting not only the aesthetic tastes of each period, but also social, cultural and political changes.
During the Jazz and Art Deco eras of the 1920s, fashion colors were vibrant and bold. Black, gold, silver, gold, deep red and emerald green were prominent, reflecting the opulence and exuberance of the era.
During the post-war 1950s, pastel colors such as pink, sky blue, pale yellow and mint were popular, reflecting the femininity and innocence of the era. Bolder colors such as cherry red and emerald green were also used to add a touch of glamour.
The 1960s was marked by the cultural revolution and the hippie movement. Bright, psychedelic colors such as orange, lemon yellow, lime green and fuchsia pink were popular, reflecting the experimentation and rebelliousness of the era.

During the 1980s, neon and fluorescent colors dominated fashion. Shades such as bubblegum pink, electric green, turquoise blue and bright yellow were common, reflecting the eccentricity and excess characteristic of this decade.
In contrast to the flamboyance of the 1980s, the fashion colors of the 1990s were more muted and neutral. Shades such as beige, brown, gray and black were popular, reflecting a more minimalist and grunge aesthetic.
In the 21st century, fashion has been characterized by a variety of styles and trends.
Fashion colors have been diverse and rapidly changing, from the pastel and soft tones of Tumblr style to the vibrant colors of streetwear style. In addition, there has been a resurgence of retro colors such as lavender, mustard and terracotta, as well as an appreciation for the inclusion of natural and earthy colors.
